Overview
Each standalone license comes with a USB hardware key. The program can be installed on multiple computers but you will need to have a hardware key attached in order to open and use the program.
The network version comes with a single USB key that permanently sits on the server. The server maintains the license management software but the program can be installed on as many client computers as preferred. When the client computer opens the program it removes a license from the server.
RUS Password Request (Standalone)
Standalone versions of RISA software use a USB key for authorization. This key must be updated with an RUS password whenever new versions of the software are installed. Please e-mail license@risatech.com to obtain an RUS password.
License File Request (Network)
Network versions of RISA software use a USB key and Sentinel License Management (both on a server) to distribute licenses. The key never needs to be updated. However the Sentinel License Management requires a new license file every time a new version of the RISA software is installed. Please e-mail license@risatech.com to obtain a license file.
